Luton Town WFC Ladies provides friendly and inclusive walking football sessions for women across Bedfordshire and nearby areas. As of 2026, Bedfordshire is currently well served by women's walking football clubs so, we welcome and do have members from:

Women's Walking Football Across Bedfordshire

The number of women and girls’ football teams in England has more than doubled since 2017 with the FA reporting a 56% increase in women and girls playing football between 2020 and 2024. But what about womens walking football? There has been increases, but by how much and what areas are geographically stronger is harder to report.

The FA have reported that for their 2024 FA Walking Football Cup, women's walking football clubs represented 43.6% of all participants - impressive for a male dominated sport! But, as we mentioned above, as of mid 2026 the number of womens walking football clubs in Bedfordshire is low. Not enough to maintain a County league or even hold localised County FA heats for their round of the walking football cup.

Luton Town WFC Ladies was founded in 2023 and has members from all over Bedfordshire, Central Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.

Our training venue in Luton is easily accessible from nearby Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire towns. Denbigh High School has a newly re-laid playing area and offers free parking and changing facilities with the schools Sports Facility. We already have had ladies traveling from these locations to join us
